Gary Recchion is the principal at Recchion and Associates, Inc., a full-service career management, training and coaching company in Phoenix, Arizona.
Gary has more than 20 years of experience in global career development, human resource management and consulting, including on-boarding and employee retention programs, managing personal change and career transition. He has coached and taught thousands of individual and corporate clients across every level and discipline to take ownership of their work and life and to connect with their passion. Fortune 500 companies such as Honeywell, American Express, Digital, and IBM have benefited from Gary’s years of experience and expertise. |
He has designed, written and facilitated corporate career programs to motivate and empower individuals and retain employees, inspiring personal attitudes of success and purpose, and creating organizational climates that value employees and their development through both of the highly effective Personal Career Leadership™ and Five Principles of Career Success™ workshop series.
His last project was developing a world-class career development program for Honeywell International. The project included establishing and managing career centers for over a decade for the corporation’s aerospace division. Since 2001, the career centers have been used by nearly 10,000 employees each year. Gary’s career development initiative was immediately recognized as a Honeywell Quality Value (Malcolm Baldrige) “Best Practice” from its inception in 1996, and is a recognized corporate model worldwide. In 1998, Gary designed and facilitated a career development training program delivered to Honeywell leadership teams and employees in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Recchion & Associates, Inc. continues to teach Honeywell’s aerospace career programs today.
Gary’s background also includes five years in career management/transition as a consultant and trainer supporting major Southwest corporate clients and twelve years with the Arabian American Oil Company (now Saudi Aramco) where he managed international career development and training programs throughout North America and Saudi Arabia.
Gary has self-published a book entitled, “Managing Today’s Career and Life Changes: Finding the ‘Right’ Work,” has authored numerous career articles for aerospacecareers.com, and has been published in the Career Planning and Adult Development Journal.
His undergraduate studies were completed at Waynesburg College, and additional graduate work was done at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. Gary now resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife, two sons and two dogs. He lives his passion by teaching and encouraging individuals to understand principles of career success and motivation. |
